Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas is proud to welcome BIG Kyesha Henderson and Little Aniya Alford to the Big/Little Family!
Little Sister Aniya Alford started out in our group mentoring at Horace Mann Magnet Middle School. Alford is an energetic Little who loves being outside. She eagerly awaited the opportunity to be matched with a Big Sister who can understand her, engage in meaningful conversations, and provide guidance as she prepares for the ACT and plans for college.
Big Sister Kyesha Henderson has always had a passion for the youth. Henderson's primary goal is to establish open communication with her Little Sister, offering guidance and sharing her knowledge about her t-shirt business. Growing up with only brothers, Henderson is particularly excited about helping a young girl make informed decisions that lead to success. She envisions her ideal Little Sister as someone who shares her energy and enthusiasm for outdoor activities.
We are thrilled to witness the growth and development of this mentorship, as Aniya and Kyesha embark on an exciting journey together, building a strong bond and paving the way for a brighter tomorrow.
